The piece is a metal box with twisted shards sticking out in every direction. When the lid is opened, a bright red apple is found nestled in folds of dark green satin. It was originally intended to be a Pandora's Box, but in including the apple, it took on may other meanings that seemed to be related. Pandora is to Eve as Snow White is to Pandora -- like the SAT questions. |
